The upcoming season of the Everest Premier League (EPL) would be the 4th edition since establishment of the EPL in 2016. EPL Pvt Ltd is the administrator of the Everest Premier League, which is played in Nepal.
Guyana’s very own Chandrapaul Hemraj will be joining the Biratnagar Warriors in this edition of the EPL. The tournament is set to commence today and conclude on October 9, 2021.
In the recently concluded Hero CPL, Chandrapaul Hemraj, representing the Guyana Amazon Warriors, was the third highest run-scorer for the Warriors with 254 runs from his 11 matches. His strike rate was 133.68 and his batting average was 25.40, with a high score of 105*.
He smashed a total of 20 boundaries and 16 maximums, the second greatest number of sixes for the Warriors and the eighth highest in the tournament. With the ball, he picked up two wickets at an economy rate of 7.47.
A total of six teams will participate in the EPL competition; namely, the Bhairahawa Gladiators, Biratnagar Warriors, Chitwan Tigers, Kathmandu Kings XI, Lalitpur Patriots and Pokhara Rhinos.
Besides Hemraj, this tournament would feature Kesrick Williams, who is the only other West Indian participating.
