Goals from Keshawn Henry and Jashawn Marshall gave Riddim Squad Football Club (FC) a 2–0 victory over Pele FC in the Guyana Football Federation/Georgetown Football Association (GFF/GFA) Youth Ensemble Under-17 tournament at Parade Ground on Saturday.


Henry opened the scoring in the 33rd minute before Marshall doubled the advantage in the 53rd, securing victory in the second fixture of the day.
Earlier, Beacon FC were awarded a walkover against Vengy FC in the opening fixture, receiving three points and three goals.
Riddim Squad made two substitutions during their win. Tyrell Grant replaced Dequan James in the 56th minute, while Keon Henry came on for Marshall in the 68th minute, shortly after the goalscorer received a yellow card.
Pele also made two changes, introducing Malachai Cumbertch for Ryan Sobers in the 60th minute before Romario Higgins replaced Adrian Davis in the 69th.
Three players were cautioned during the contest. Riddim Squad’s Kenny Yam received a yellow card in the 20th minute, followed by teammate Marshall in the 67th. Pele’s Davis was booked in the 68th minute, one minute before being substituted.
The tournament’s final round of matches will be played next weekend.
