Inter-village football begins tonight with 2 games

The 16-team, Inter-village football tournament will kick off tonight at the Victoria Community Centre Ground from 18:00h, with a double-header.
The tournament, which will see the winning team going home with $800,000, is set to start with Tiger Bay facing Liliendaal in the opening game, while Eastville and Mocha will collide in the second fixture at 20:00h.
Legacy Promotional group is the body responsible for hosting the event, and Banks DIH, under their Banks Beer brand is the primary sponsor.
Games will be contested on December 21, 23, 25 26, 28 and the grand final is set for December 30. Apart from the winner’s purse, the second placed side will pocket $400,000 with $200,000 set to go the third placed team and $100,000 to the fourth placed finisher.
