Jealous ex-lover kills man at ex-girlfriend’s house

A jealous man killed a friend of his ex-girlfriend at her Mazaruni Street, Guyhoc Park, Georgetown home.

Dead is 23-year-old Kyle Chase of Mc Allen, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown.
Reports are Chase was at a female friend’s house playing cards (fun games) on Monday evening at about 21:45h with his cousin, Trevon Chase.
According to the police, two males – one being the 24-year-old ex-boyfriend of the female – turned up at the house and became enraged upon seeing Kyle and Trevon Chase there.
Police said that an argument ensued and a scuffle erupted among the men during which the suspect allegedly stabbed Chase several times with an object.
Chase collapsed and was rushed to Davis Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Chase’s cousin, Trevon, and the suspect were also injured during the scuffle. Trevon Chase received medical attention and was discharged, while the suspect is under Police guard at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) nursing injuries to his head. Police have since launched an investigation. When this newspaper visited the dead man’s home, his family was reluctant to speak about the incident.
