Bounty Farm Ltd Handicap Squash Tournament…

The 2020 Bounty Farm Ltd Handicap Squash Tournament continued last evening at the Georgetown Club on Camp Street with quarter-final matches being played in the Open category, and Plate matches being played in both categories.

The night full of upsets in the Open category, as both top-seeded players were beaten. Lucas Jonas (2) played excellent squash to defeat Peter Michael De Groot (-15) 15 – -4, 15 – 1, while Brian Edwards (9) had to come from one game down to miraculously oust Nicholas Narain (-15) 13 – 15, 15 – 9, 15 – 9. Mohryan Baksh (0) beat Lloyd Fung-A-Fat in two close games 15 – 13, 15 – 13, while in the last of the quarter-final matches Louis da Silva (10) easily beat Zachary Persaud (10) 15 – 8, 15 – 11.
