J’s Supermarket, Gore, targets a strong showing at GMR&SC National Championships

J’s Supermarket will take its competitive ambitions from horse racing to the motor-racing circuit this weekend, teaming up with Jamaican driver Tommi Gore for the opening round of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club’s 2026 National Championships.
Gore will pilot one of the One Guyana team’s KTM X-Bows in the Group Four category as J’s looks to make an impact in another form of racing after enjoying success through its J’s Racing Stable.
The Jamaican was called up during the week and is eager to return to competition with the One Guyana team. Apart from challenging for strong results, Gore will use the event to gain valuable track time ahead of the Guyana Grand Prix on November 1.
He is also looking forward to facing a different group of competitors and putting on a competitive display for spectators.

J’s Supermarket owner Jermaine Sripal is confident the team can challenge despite facing stiff opposition in Group Four. Among the main contenders will be Rameez Mohamed in the BM Soat/Prem’s Electrical KTM X-Bow, which Sripal noted has significantly more horsepower than the J’s machine.
However, Sripal remains optimistic about the team’s chances and believes the addition of Gore, together with a strong supporting unit, could help them produce good results. He said the same importance placed on teamwork in the J’s Racing Stable will be carried into the motorsport programme.
