Luis Kumar’s confirmed participation aims to excite fans and build anticipation for the upcoming Nitro Kart Clash on April 19 at the National Stadium. The new track layout at the stadium is designed to challenge drivers and spark spectators’ curiosity about how the race will unfold.
“This will be a new challenge for all the drivers,” Kumar stated. “It’s a brand-new layout, and everyone will start from scratch. With less than a week of practice time available, it’s a challenge I truly welcome.”

Kumar has already been studying the course blueprints, and his initial assessment suggests a gruelling day behind the wheel. “I have seen the layout so far, and the track looks like a challenging one. It will be important to get as much data as possible before race day.”
The event, set for April 19 at the National Stadium, is being hailed as the most ambitious karting spectacle in the nation’s history, transforming the stadium grounds into a high-octane arena reminiscent of an F1 street circuit. The scale of the event is bolstered by the involvement of the Jumbo Jet team, who are expected to provide a premium experience for spectators.
“Overall, this will be the biggest karting event ever hosted in Guyana,” Kumar added. “With the Jumbo Jet team and their hospitality area, I encourage all the fans to come out. The atmosphere is going to be incredible.” He will be driving the 619 Boost High Octane Kart in the Honda GX200 class.
