Linden woman fined $10,000 for “buse out”

Forty-seven-year-old Michelle Daniels of Wisroc Housing Scheme, Wismar, Linden was fined $10,000 by Linden Magistrate Wanda Fortune on Tuesday when she appeared in that Magistrate’s Court charged with the offence of making use of abusive language.
Daniels pleaded guilty to the charge, which stated that she used abusive language against the virtual complainant (VC) Holly Washington on January 1, 2021. The court heard that she told the woman she was a (*expletives) “crass”.
Failure to pay the fine would result in an alternative sentence of two weeks’ imprisonment. Daniels was also placed on a bond to keep the peace for one year, default of which would result in her receiving a sentence of three months’ imprisonment.
