Linden woman robbed while standing on Croal Street

Nathalie Williams, a 33-year-old self-employed woman of Wisroc Housing Scheme, Linden, is traumatised after she was robbed in the wee hours of Tuesday in the vicinity of Croal Street, Georgetown.
The robbery took place on Monday at around 04:00h and was committed by two identifiable males, one of whom was armed with a double-bladed knife.
Police stated that Williams was relieved of a mobile phone and its charger.
Investigations revealed that Williams was standing in the vicinity of the old Footsteps store when she was approached by the two suspects.
After approaching the woman, one of the suspects whipped out a knife and pointed it in her direction. At that time, the accomplice took the items.
The suspects then made good their escape east on Coral Street, Georgetown. Checks were made for them but they were not found. Investigations are ongoing.
