A Lindener was granted ,000 bail by Magistrate Clive Nurse on Tuesday on a charge of assault.
Ornoghue Simon, 41, was charged with unlawfully assaulting Donneka Archibald at Richmond Hill, Mackenzie, Linden on April 9.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and will make his next court appearance on May 18.
