With anticipation building for one of the most significant nights in Guyana’s boxing history, Lynx Logistics has thrown its support behind fighter Dexter Marques ahead of his pivotal showdown with Keevin Allicock this Saturday.
The bout will serve as the main undercard attraction to the historic International Boxing Organisation (IBO) super-bantamweight world title clash between Elton Dharry and Tanzania’s Salmin Kassim, set for the Pegasus Suites and Corporate Centre.
Known for its expertise in heavy lifting, transport, heavy-duty mechanics, and logistical services, Lynx Logistics made a timely presentation to Marques at its Meadow Bank headquarters.

The company expressed confidence in the boxer’s ability and extended best wishes as he prepares for what is widely regarded as a defining fight in his career.
Marques, who boasts a professional record of 19 wins and six losses, faces a stern test against Allicock, a Tokyo Olympian and one of Guyana’s most promising punchers.
Allicock enters the bout with a flawless record of three wins from three fights since turning professional, all coming by knockout.
With the Guyana national featherweight title on the line, Lynx Logistics indicated that its support is aimed at ensuring Marques is fully equipped, both mentally and physically, to rise to the occasion.
The clash presents a classic matchup of determination versus pedigree, with Marques seeking to upset the highly-touted Allicock, who enters the ring with international experience and growing local acclaim.
Saturday’s card is headlined by Dharry’s bid to etch his name in history against Kassim. The contest will mark the first male world title fight ever staged in Guyana, adding further prestige to an already-stacked event.
