The lifeless body of an engineer was found hanging from a rafter of the ceiling of his Lot 39 Stanleytown, New Amsterdam, Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) home on Tuesday.
The man has been identified as 25-year-old Lamont Franklyn Fraser. The discovery was made by his reputed wife shortly after 12:00h.
The couple had been together for more than three years. Fraser reportedly sent a suicide voice note to his spouse which the Police are analysing. He was employed by the Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) up to the time of his demise.
