Playing at the Port Mourant Community Centre Ground, the Berbice senior all-rounder scored 63 off 62 balls before returning figures of five for 30, helping Tucber Park dismiss the hosts for 169 in 36.2 overs in pursuit of 305.
Mickle shared the spotlight with fellow Berbice senior all-rounder Nigel Deodat, whose attacking 69 off 40 deliveries led Tucber Park to 304 all out in their allotted 50 overs. Deodat also contributed with the ball, taking two for 23.
Tucber Park’s batting effort received useful support from Joemal Lafleur, who made 35, while Kevin Kisten and Garfield Benjamin each added 34. Those contributions helped the visitors set a demanding target despite three-wicket returns from Port Mourant’s Joshua Ramsammy, Salim Khan and Romeo Deonarine.
Port Mourant’s reply was led by Rampersaud Ramnauth, who scored 44 off 76 balls, while Deonarine followed his bowling contribution with 34 off 37 deliveries.
Demetri Cameron added 14 off 11 balls, but the hosts struggled to keep pace with the required scoring rate and could not build a serious challenge.
Mickle led the bowling effort with his five-wicket haul, while Deodat and Zeynul Ramsammy, who claimed two for 39, provided strong support to complete a convincing semi-final victory.
