Miss Berbice swimsuit competition set to heat up Skeldon on Saturday evening

As the Miss Berbice “I’m a Big Deal Pageant” comes to a climax, the highly anticipated swimsuit segment will be held on Saturday evening at the Skeldon Estate pool.
Yes, it will be water and swimwear. The official swimsuit competition is expected to be off the hook as the eight delegates compete for the coveted title that is being held by Valintina Bates.
The delegates competing for this year’s title were selected via auditions, immediately after which they kicked into training gear. After months of training in several fields, the delegates are ready to impress the judges and patrons. They were officially unveiled to the public a few weeks ago at a ceremony in New Amsterdam.
However, come Saturday evening, all focus will be on the delegates as they compete with poise, charm and grace. Apart from the delegates, there will be lots of giveaways for the crowd such as Bigger De Better, Fit and Proper and Big Belly Man competitions.
Also steaming up the event on Saturday will be the Unity Boyz, Too Much Sauce and members of Team Extreme Dance Troupe. Admission to the event costs $1000 and tickets will be available at the gate or advance tickets can be picked up from the delegates or the organisers.
