Talent, costume preliminaries set for Aracari Resort
On Saturday, April 21, at 19:00h, the Aracari Resort, Plantation Versailles, West Bank Demerara, will be graced with the presence of seven dazzling delegates who are vying for the title of Miss Earth Guyana, as they compete in the talent and costume preliminaries.
Set for the Aracari Resort poolside auditorium, this segment of the pageant will see delegates showcasing their superhero themed costumes and their various talents before a panel of much esteemed judges.
Word is out that during the talent presentations, the audience can expect some electric dancing, drama and vocal performances like never before. Fans can gather at the Aracari Resort from Friday, April 20, to see the delegates in their rehearsals and mini-poolside presentations.
On Sunday, April 22, the delegates will set the Aracari Resort poolside ablaze as they showcase their sizzling “Swimsuit Fantasia”. This is an open show to the general public. Meanwhile, the entrance fee for the April 21 event at poolside has been set at $1000.
Girls have been selected this time around from across the length and breadth of Guyana, inclusive of West Coast Berbice, represented by former Miss Mahaicony Queen, Anasa Williams, a former President’s College graduate.
Those competing for the coveted crown and title this year are Xamiera Kippins, Garbiella Chapman, Akisha Payne, Oriana Castello, Anita Baker, Luan Pellew and Anasa Williams.
