In light of the threat of a coronavirus outbreak in Guyana, the Ministry of Education announced that all Public Schools would be closed for two weeks.
This means that all Public Schools would be out of session from March 16. Additionally, the Ministry via a statement on its Facebook Page noted that the decision would be reassessed as monitoring of COVID-19 continues.
