Neon Glow Pride Party for this Saturday at Dutch Bottle Café

The Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination (SASOD) is set to bring the curtains down on their LGBT Pride Month celebrations with the ultimate Neon Glow Pride Party this Saturday, July 2, at Dutch Bottle Café, Lot 10 North Road (between Light and Cummings Streets), Bourda.
The first 20 partygoers to arrive before 22:00h will be treated to complimentary neon-themed cocktails. Also, the first 10 couples to arrive before 22:00h will receive complimentary neon body painting.
The legendary DJ Kerry will spin the hottest and most modern mixes in all genres of music. Limited pre-sold tickets cost 00 and are available at Oasis Café, 125 Carmichael Street; Vintage Wine and Cheese Lounge, 218 Lamaha Street; Red Mango Cards and Gift Shop, 39 Robb Street; and SASOD’s office, 169 Charlotte Street. Admission at the door is 00. Special door prizes will also be awarded to lucky winners.
There will be free, on-site HIV testing and counselling throughout the night at the Neon Glow Pride Party, supported by USAID’s Advancing Partners and Communities (APC) – Guyana Project. All proceeds from this fundraising event go to SASOD’s LGBT Emergency Shelter and Community Centre Fund to provide support and services to homeless LGBT youth and victims of violence.
Persons must be 18 years and over to attend.
