A 19-year-old accused of stealing a television from St Joseph Mercy Medical Hospital was charged and appeared in court on Wednesday.
Davin Bess, of Pattensen, Greater Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Faith McGusty and denied the charge which stated that between January 6 and January 7, 2020, at Parade Street, Georgetown, he stole one 32” flat-screen television from St Joseph’s Mercy Medical Hospital.
Reports are the teen was an employee of the hospital when the item went missing. A report was made to the Police and following an investigation, the teen was arrested and charged. Bess was released on $75,000 bail. As a condition for bail, the teen is required to report to the Brickdam Police Station once per week until the conclusion of the trial.
The case will continue on February 5, 2020.
