Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Under-14 Boys National Team Head Coach Jamal Pedro strengthened his technical knowledge ahead of the CFU Under-14 Boys Challenge Series, by participating in the Elite Youth Coaches Workshop in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The two-day programme, held on August 12 and 13, formed part of FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme and supported the Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF)’s efforts to improve Coaching and youth player development throughout the region.
Pedro joined Coaches from across the Caribbean and wider CONCACAF region for sessions focused on the demands of elite youth football. The workshop allowed participants to share ideas, discuss best practices and take part in practical learning activities
The knowledge gained is expected to assist Pedro as he continues preparing Guyana’s Under-14 boys for regional competition.
His participation also supports the GFF’s drive to develop technically equipped Coaches and establish stronger pathways for young Guyanese players.
