PMTC1, Galaxy Girls star in Corriverton Jets Fun Day

Port Mourant Training Centre (PMTC) 1 and Galaxy Girls emerged winners of May Day’s Corriverton Jets Fun Day Volleyball tournament.
Some of the ladies teams included Port Mourant Females, Corriverton Jets Females, Siparuta Females, Skeldon Line Path Secondary Females and the Galaxy Girls of Siparuta.
The males saw winners PMTC- 1, PMTC- 2, GTCPM, Corriverton Jets, Port Mourant Jaguars and Rollers competing. In the finals, Galaxy Girls defeated Corriverton Jets females 15-13.

First and second place trophies were awarded and Siparuta females received the third place trophy. In the male category, the dominant PMTC-1 whipped Corriverton Jets 25-14 to win the finals. First and second place trophies were awarded.
PMTC-2 was awarded the third place trophy. PMTC-1MVP was Shemroy Ross.
Other accolades – Junior libero-Reead Asgarally; Junior Setter – Levi Nedd Jr; Most Disciplined Player – Oswald February. Referee of the day – Levi Nedd Jr; Sterling contribution and support to the sport – National Coach Levi Nedd Senior.
There was also a five-a-side small goal football match was played consisting of GTCPM-1, GTCPM-2, Siparuta and Corriverton Jets. GTCPM-1 defeated GTCPM-2 in the finals 3-1.
First and second place trophies were awarded. Shaquan Spencer scored the most goals and was awarded, while Germain Pollard was awarded for best defence. Softball cricket Corriverton Jets then defeated GTCPM in a cricket match.
GTCPM scored 98 in six overs, while the Corriverton Jets reached target with one wicket falling. First and second place trophies were awarded. Murray was awarded MVP. February was awarded the most wickets. Pollard awarded most runs.
