A pork-knocker of the Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) is now in Police custody after he was nabbed with ammunition and a firearm magazine on Friday.
The 42-year-old man was apprehended by Police at around 15:00h at Port Kaituma, North West District, Region One (Barima-Waini).
According to reports, the suspect was stopped and searched by ranks when the 25 rounds of various calibres of ammunition and a small arm magazine were found.
He was arrested and is said to be cooperating with Police as they continue their investigation.
