Defending U-15 champions Port Mourant scored 109 all out in 28 overs, while Rose Hall Town stumbled to 79 all out in 27.5 overs. Batting first, Port Mourant reached 109 on the strength of 23 runs scored by Navin Boodwah, who also had bowling figures of 3-16 in 5.5 overs.

Navin Boodwah top-scored with 23 and claimed three wickets

Besides Navin Boodwah’s 23, Vishal Williams made 18, and a total of 31 extras from Rose Hall Town propped up Port Mourant’s total.
Matthew Pereira claimed 2-6 in three overs, while Sohil Mohammed had 2-18 in six overs.
Port Mourant displayed poor running between the wickets, and as a result lost six batsmen by the run-out route.
The Rose Hall top order failed to fire, as right-arm pacer Shamul Daniels produced early wickets. Only Pereira reached double figures for Rose Hall Town, with a score of 13, which included one four.
In addition to Budwah’s 3-16, Daniels had 2-17 and Ravin Budwaj had 2-20. Port Mourant would want to extend dominance in their next round on Sunday November 28 against Albion. (Brandon Corlette)
