Premier Eagles Volleyball Club produced a commanding performance to overcome Castrol Strikers in a four-set battle, recovering from a first-set setback to secure a convincing victory.
The Strikers made the stronger start, taking the opening set 25-20 as they looked to establish early control. However, the Eagles quickly found their rhythm and responded with a 25-18 victory in the second set to level the contest.
Premier Eagles then turned up the pressure in the third set, dominating the Strikers 25-9 to move within one set of victory. The Eagles maintained their momentum in the fourth, closing out the match 25-15 to complete the comeback.
Leading the Eagles’ charge was Evgeny Titov, who was named the match’s Most Valuable Player following an impressive all-round display.
Titov finished with 17 points, including 13 successful attacks, three ace serves and a crucial block, as his attacking efficiency and presence at the net helped propel the Eagles to victory.
After dropping the opening set, the Premier Eagles showed their composure and attacking strength to win three consecutive sets and seal the four-set triumph over the Castrol Strikers.
