Promotech praises NTFGL success, reaffirms support for golf development

Promotech Guyana has commended the successful staging of the Promotech National Top Flight Golf League (NTFGL), which recently concluded at the Lusignan Golf Club, while reaffirming its commitment to the continued development of golf in Guyana.
The tournament, which brought together many of the country’s leading golfers, ended with Patanjilee Persaud securing the championship title after a competitive showing throughout the league. Organisers highlighted the event as a demonstration of the sport’s steady progress locally.
Speaking at the closing presentation, Promotech Guyana Country Manager Bala Vinjimoor praised both the quality of play and the overall execution of the tournament. He noted that the level of competition, along with the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among players, reflected the core values of the sport.
Vinjimoor said the company was pleased to be involved as title sponsor, adding that initiatives such as the NTFGL play a key role in advancing sport and building community engagement. He pointed out that the event not only showcased local talent but also underscored Guyana’s potential as a destination for sporting excellence.
He also called for increased corporate support for sport, noting that such investment extends beyond branding opportunities and contributes to long-term development, particularly at the youth and community levels.
Promotech Guyana extended congratulations to the organisers, players and stakeholders for delivering a successful tournament, while signalling its intention to continue supporting similar initiatives in the future.
