The government’s Public Assistance programme provides important income support to those in the most distressed of circumstances.
In light of this, the government will be increasing the monthly Public Assistance payment from $12,000 to $14,000.
This will be benefiting 18,000 persons thus providing an additional $432 million in disposable income to these individuals.
