Reboot pledges 1000 cases, financial backing for Masters World Cup

Reboot has committed 1000 cases of its sports drink and financial support to the 2026 International Masters Cricket (IMC) Over-40s World Cup, joining the tournament as a Gold Sponsor ahead of its staging in Guyana from October 17 to November 1.

Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) Chairman Raj Singh (third from right) received the package on behalf of the organisers

The sponsorship was announced on Wednesday at the Ruimveldt Industrial Site headquarters of Permaul Trading & Distribution, Reboot’s exclusive distributor in Guyana. Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) Chairman Raj Singh received the package on behalf of the organisers.
The second edition of the tournament will bring together 16 teams for 72 matches across 10 venues, with the final scheduled for the National Stadium at Providence, East Bank Demerara.
Singh said the agreement followed ongoing discussions between CWIMA and Permaul Trading & Distribution. He explained that the contribution would provide considerable assistance as preparations advance for the international competition.
The company has supported masters cricket in Guyana over the years, and its involvement as a Gold Sponsor expands that commitment.
Permaul Trading & Distribution Managing Director Subramani Mangali said the company was pleased to support the tournament and expressed a willingness to continue backing masters cricket. His assurance followed Singh’s indication that Guyana could host further Masters World Cups.
On the field, former West Indies captain Denesh Ramdin will lead the West Indies Over-40s side as the hosts seek to challenge defending champions South Africa. Fellow former West Indies skipper Ramnaresh Sarwan and Guyanese brothers Hemnarine and Sewnarine Chattergoon are also included in the home squad.
Confirmed grounds for the tournament include the historic Bourda Ground at the Georgetown Cricket Club, Anna Regina Stadium and the Joe Jagmohan Ground in Essequibo, and the Albion Community Centre Ground in Berbice. Organisers are finalising the remaining venues.
Admission will be free at all grounds, giving spectators an opportunity to attend matches throughout the competition. Booths will also be available for purchase for those seeking an upgraded viewing experience at the National Stadium.
Reboot is manufactured in Trinidad and Tobago by Brava International Limited. The isotonic sports drink contains electrolytes and is intended for athletes and active consumers to support hydration and recovery after physical activity.
