Rotary Club to host inaugural fundraising scavenger hunt

The Rotary Club of Demerara will be hosting its inaugural fundraising Scavenger Hunt & Bar-Be-Que on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) from 12:00h to 18:00h.
Each team will consist of no more than five persons. The hunt officially kicks off at 13:15h and ends at 16:15h.
Thereafter, judges will check in arriving teams, tally scores and announce all winners at 17:00h. In addition, there will be a fundraising barbeque.
The team that comes in with the most points will win an aerial tour of Georgetown while the team that comes in second will win Go-Kart Track Time at GMR&SC and the third-place winner will get a dinner at Windjammer. There will also be consolation prizes.
The registration fee per team is $10,000. All proceeds will go towards the work of the organisation to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio locally, regionally, and internationally.
Check-in, payment of registration fees and rules review will commence from 12:00h to 13:00h. Any team that comes after the check-in period will not be permitted to participate.

Once registered, payment of fee can be made before the event to GMR&SC’s Office Manager or during the check-in period on the day of the event (this only applies to online registration).

On the other hand, participants can uplift a copy of the registration form from GMR&SC and return the completed form along with registration fee to GMR&SC’s Office Manager.
