The Top Cop expressed, “He’s not with us anymore. We are going to support the family. She’s (his spouse) an Inspector of Police. We will give her the time off to grieve but we will put some plans in place for her so that she is prepared for higher ranks of the Force through training and other mentorship programmes. The entire Force will embrace her through this season and beyond.”
In November 2020, Cooper was admitted to the Bar before Chief Justice (ag) Roxane George.
