With incentives up for grabs, teams have been motivated and invigorated to perform. Thus, game one featured Genesis and Sophia B in a close battle, which at full time ended at 2-1. In game two, West Side Ballerz got the upper hand (2-0) over Red Force. In game three, Unity Ballers suffered a 1-0 defeat to Ballerz Empire. In game four, North Ruimveldt defeated Bent Street 1-0.
Game 5, contested between Family and Thomas Street Ballerz, ended with Family prevailing by a comfortable 3-0 margin. Albouystown defeated Victoria Eagles 2-0 in game six, while North East La Penitence blitzed Stabroek Ballerz B 4-0 in game seven.
Game 8 produced a thriller, with Talibans narrowly defeating Z-Tekk by a 3-2 margin.
Grand prizes include $500,000 for first place, $300,000 for second place, $150,000 for third place, and $100,000 for the fourth- place finisher. The tournament’s final is set to take place on May 26, 2025.
