Seven Seas cycling resumes at National Park today

The 13th annual Seven Seas 11-race cycling programme is slated to begin at the inner circuit of the National Park today from 09:00h.
The programme will be targeting a wide range of racers starting from the junior level all the way up to the veterans.
However, the main event of the day will see the top cyclists in the country match pedals. The race will include Andrew Hicks, Christopher Cornelius, Jornel Yearwood, and Raphael Leung; all of whom represented Guyana in the Junior Caribbean Championships, held in St kennard lovellLucia.
Kennard Lovell will be looking to emerge victorious after five laps in the Veterans Under-45 race but will have to outride Junior Niles.
All eyes will be on Linden Blackman who is also expected to outride the other contenders in the five-lap race for Veterans Over-45 years.
In addition to these races, there will be a 10-lap race for Juvenile riders as well as a two-lap race for BMX Boys 6-9 years old and a three-lap race for BMX Boys 9-12 years old.
The event will also feature female riders as they compete in a three lap race for girls between the ages of 12 and 14.
