The riveting semi-finals were played at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac with Tucville recording a 1-0 win over a rampant Broad Street Bullies in what many saw as an upset.
Before the match the Broad Street unit were dubbed the favourites having netted the most goals by any team this year but with just five minutes on the clock, the consistent Leon Richardson broke the deadlock.
The Broad Street Bullies tried desperately to find an equaliser but yet again smart tactics by Tucville ensured that there would be no twist in the match.
The second match of the night, was in deeded the heavyweight clash as, the partisan ground got behind their respective teams in a match that was too close to call before the opening whistle.
Back Circle, the inaugural champions in 2011 were facing a weakened Sparta team with the absence of stars such as Gregory “Jackie Chan” Richardson and Devon Millington.
Their early enthusiasm on the field was jolted when they conceded an own goal in the 7th minute to put Back Circle ahead.
The former champs then looked comfortable in trying to play for time but champions showed who is boss when Solomon Austin equalised in the 19th, followed by Courtney Britton in the 21st.
The two sides will now battle for the first place purse of $500,000 and trophy while the second place side will have to settle for $200,000.
The third place match between Back Circle and Broad Street Bullies will see the winner receiving $150,000 and the loser $100,000 along with respective trophies.
