Special Constable found dead in barrack room

The lifeless body of a 53-year-old woman was discovered in the Special Constabulary (SC) Headquarters barrack room on Princess Street, Georgetown on Thursday.
Dead is Pamela Wilson of Lot 22 One Mile Wismar Linden, Region Ten (Upper Demerara-Berbice). She was attached to the SC Headquarters in Georgetown. Reports revealed that the woman’s body was discovered between 8:00h and 11:45h in the barrack room.
When contacted, Commander of Region 4(A), Senior Superintendent Phillip Azore, explained that following the discovery, the body was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Mortuary to await a post mortem.
There were no marks of violence about the body. Her colleagues said she had suffered from hypertension and diabetes.
