Supreme Transportation Inc. has officially joined the lineup of corporate backers for the fourth edition of the Lotto/Let’sBet One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast, supporting the development of grassroots cricket across the country.
“The backing from corporate partners like Supreme Transportation Inc. is vital in elevating grassroots cricket to professional standards,” stated tournament representative Yusuf Ali.
“Their commitment not only provides local athletes with meaningful financial rewards and national recognition, but it also ensures communities across Guyana enjoy top-tier cricket entertainment.
We are deeply grateful for their partnership as the tournament continues to gather incredible momentum.”
The tournament moves into its next phase following two high-intensity regional legs.
Grillmaster Sip N Play All-Stars dominated the Berbice Zone to seal the inaugural ticket to the National Grand Finale.
Meanwhile, Mahdia (Movements Family) pulled off a high-scoring heist at Meten-Meer-Zorg, dethroning 2025 champions Eccles All-Stars to lock down the East Bank/West Demerara berth.
Attention now shifts west to the Essequibo Coast for a bumper weekend of action on August 22 and 23. Sixteen talent-stacked outfits will clash across four grounds—Pomona, Affiance, Hampton Court, and the Anna Regina National Stadium.
Saturday’s opening round bursts into life at 10:30h, highlighted by Aurora Knight Riders taking on GT Warriors at Pomona and Riverstown facing Fibreglass Gladiators at Affiance, before a knockout quarter-final round caps off the afternoon.
On Sunday, the entire spectacle moves exclusively to Anna Regina under lights. Back-to-back semi-finals bowl off at 14:30h and 16:30h, followed by a curtain-raiser exhibition between Trophy Stall Jaguars and Trophy Stall Eagles at 18:30h.
The centrepiece zonal final takes centre stage at 20:00hrs.
Beyond a spot in the October showcase, there is plenty of coin up for grabs. Shawn’s Mini Mart is funding a G$500,000 winner’s purse, Jaigobin Hotel backs the G$200,000 runner-up check, and Scoop Ride Inc. ensures losing quarter-finalists walk away with G$25,000 each.
Once the Essequibo champions join Grillmaster and Mahdia in the national draw, the tournament will pause briefly for the closing stretch of the Caribbean Premier League.
Action resumes on September 26 with the Georgetown/East Coast Demerara Zone, before all roads lead back to Anna Regina for the National Grand Finale on October 11.
