Tapeball cricket returns to the tarmac

The most competitive tapeball cricket action in Guyana is no doubt found at the National Cultural Centre tarmac in Georgetown, simply referred to as the tarmac. Many current and past national and club cricketers were brought up playing, what can be described as tough cricket, on the tarmac in the afternoons or on weekends. After a slow down for various reasons, the action is slowly picking up and a big competition is set for January month end.
