United States of America Global Cricket Academy (USAGCA) Under-17 defeated Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) U-17 by 107 runs to win their fourth match on their tour of Guyana since landing here on April 8.

Played at the MSC ground at Thomas Lands, the visitors won the toss and opted to bat. They manage to score 167 in 32.2 overs before returning to dismiss the hosts for 60 in 30.4 overs.
Adrian Hinds 29, skipper Sanjay Stanley, who surprisingly batted at number nine was left unbeaten on 26, Akul Gupta 24 and Dwayne Dick 22, were the main contributor for the visitors in their challenging total which turn out to be a winning score. Only Kester McAllister of the MSC bowlers tested their opponent during their innings.
The main wicket takers for USAGCA: Gautham Ravindran, Akul Gupta and Atul Iyer
Gautham Ravindran 3-7 and Atul Iyer 3-22 combined for six wickets as MSC folded cheaply in a horrible batting display. Gupta had a good day at the office with bat then captured 2-12 to follow up with ball.
The win saw the visitors moved to four wins from seven matches. They suffered defeats to Demerara Cricket Club (DCC), Transport Sports Club (TSC) and a combined Berbice XI.
The tour will close on Tuesday against a Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Select XI at the Georgetown Cricket Club ground, Bourda.
