US-based cyclist Brian Mussum crossed the finish line before his competitors in the feature race of the Fireworks Pink Edition Cycle Meet on Sunday.
The race, which was organised by Kaieteur Attack Racing Cycling Club (KARCC), comprised 30 laps around the Seawall Bandstand, Kingston, Georgetown.
The thrilling event signifies the club’s collective commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer while promoting the spirit of healthy competition and unity in Guyana.
Coming in second was Jamaul John, also of KARCC, followed by Britton John of United We Stand Cycle Club.

Riding in fourth was Curtis Dey of Evolution Cycle Club while Adam Alexander from Trinidad and Tobago took the fifth spot and Robin Persaud of Evolution copped sixth space.
On addition to winning the race, Mussum also copped 19 prime prizes.
In the junior category, Alex Leung came in first followed by Ajany Cuttins in second and Aaron Newton in third.
