The Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) has announced a 16-member West Indies Over-60 squad for the 2026 IMC Over-60s World Cup, which will be played in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, from August 9 to 23. The tournament is expected to feature some of the best veteran cricketers from around the world and will provide another platform for master’s cricket to showcase its continued growth internationally.
Leading the Caribbean side will be captain Zamin Amin, who heads a squad made up of players with extensive experience representing their countries, regional teams, clubs and previous West Indies Masters outfits in international competition. According to CWIMA, the selected players will carry the rich cricketing traditions of the Caribbean into a competition featuring the world’s top Over-60 teams.
The squad comprises Zamin Amin (captain), Anthony Boyke, Narine Bidhesi, Rajendrasammy Chetana, Deonarine Deyal, Rajendra Dilraj, Fareed Hosein, Hafiz Mohamed, Harry Narain Heeralall, Keith Seale, Ken Mayers, Anthony “Tony” Small, Balwant Roy Singh, Shivnath Seeram, Steve Linton, and Victor Patrick. David Ramsingh and Emmerson Jordan have been named as reserves. Team management will be led by manager Raj Singh, while Alexio Daley will serve as physical therapist.
CWIMA Secretary Roy Singh expressed confidence in the team’s ability to compete on the international stage and highlighted the significance of the tournament being hosted in a country with a large Caribbean community.
“Canada 2026 presents an exciting opportunity for the West Indies Masters to compete against the best Over-60s teams in the world. With Canada being home to a strong Caribbean diaspora and passionate cricket community, we look forward to representing West Indies Masters cricket with pride, discipline, and competitiveness,” Singh stated.
He added that the selected players had demonstrated both commitment and the ability to perform at a high level and expressed confidence that they would represent the region well on and off the field.
The team is expected to begin preparations in the coming months as it builds toward the global tournament. Beyond the pursuit of international honours, the World Cup will also celebrate the enduring appeal of cricket and the camaraderie that masters cricket continues to foster among players across the world. CWIMA also acknowledged the support of sponsors, families, volunteers and the wider cricket community, noting that further details on preparations, sponsorship opportunities and fundraising initiatives will be announced in the weeks ahead.
