With inclement weather forcing postponement of the first two days of the Linden Regional Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) Conference basketball championship, the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) is pressing for a start on Monday afternoon, when the scheduled day three matches are set for play at the tournament’s venue, the Mackenzie High School hard court.
The opening match will actually begin at 14.30hrs, when Linden Technical Institute and Linden Foundation Secondary square off in the first game of a double-header.
The second game, from 16:00hrs, is between New Silvercity Secondary and home team Mackenzie High School.
On Tuesday last, Friday’s opening games were rescheduled. This rescheduling has now set play in the first game between Linden Foundation and Mackenzie High, and play in the second bringing together Linden Technical Institute and Wisburg Secondary, from 16.00hrs.
