519 Guyana joins IMC Over-40s World Cup as Bronze Sponsor

519 Guyana has joined the growing list of sponsors supporting the 2026 International Masters Cricket (IMC) Over-40s World Cup after being confirmed as an official Bronze Sponsor of the tournament.
The Pan-Caribbean restaurant and bar, located at the AC Marriott in Ogle, East Coast Demerara, will support the Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) as Guyana prepares to host the international tournament from October 17 to 31.
The World Cup is expected to feature 16 teams competing across 72 matches, with the West Indies set to play on home soil against experienced masters cricketers from around the world.
CWIMA said the involvement of local businesses such as 519 Guyana will also help strengthen the experience for visiting players, officials and supporters during their stay in the country. The tournament organisers believe partnerships with businesses in the hospitality sector can complement the cricket by helping visitors experience more of what Guyana has to offer.

CWIMA Chairman and Tournament Director Rajendra “Raj” Singh welcomed 519 Guyanese involvement, noting that hosting 16 teams requires support from several sectors.
Singh said the backing of local businesses will assist organisers with delivering the tournament while creating a welcoming environment for visiting teams and supporters. He added that CWIMA wants visitors to leave Guyana with positive memories not only of the cricket but also of the people and experiences they encounter during the event.
CWIMA has also encouraged cricket supporters and visiting teams to support 519 Guyana and the other businesses partnering with the World Cup.
The association said the tournament will provide another opportunity for local supporters to rally behind the West Indies while celebrating the continued competitiveness and ambition of master cricketers.
The 2026 IMC Over-40s World Cup will run under the theme “Reignite the Fire. Relive the Passion.”
