Six suspects have been taken into Police custody, two of which have confessed to robbing a New Amsterdam, Berbice housewife.
The articles that were found during the search
The men were arrested at Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam during an information-led operation conducted by ranks of the B Division.
The search operation lasted for eight hours where several homes were searched. In those searches, articles which were stolen from New Amsterdam housewife were discovered.
As such, the suspects were taken into Police custody.
The men are expected to be arraigned for the crimes shortly.
