Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Linden Zone…

The Linden leg of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ continued on Tuesday evening at the McKenzie Market tarmac and six more teams were given the axe after failing to secure important victories.
Aroaima Colo were the  first to go as they  were defeated 2-0 via goals from Dexter Garraway (12th) and Travon Archibald (18th) while Coomacka won 2-0 on penalty kicks after they drew 2-2 with Mile Star. In that engrossing fixture, Kerston Thom (5th) and Keron Dow (18th) scored for the winners while the pair of Donald (12th) and Brian Gomes (14th) gave hope to Mile Star.

Similarly, Cherokee Park won 3-1 on penalty kicks after they had scoreless draw with Hardknocks.  Deshwan Joseph 3rd minute strike stopped Goal Getters from getting going as Good Fellas won 1-0.
Another match had to be decided by spot kicks since Young Stars jubilance helped them claw their way back against Attackers to draw 2-2 and eventually win 1-0 penalty kicks.  Shaka Lewis (12th) and Denzil Pryce (15th) were the architects behind the trilling come back after R. Venture (9th) and K. Boston (11th) gave the early advantage.
Running Guns and Train Line Warriors were locked at 1-1 at the end of extra time but the later won 1-0 on penalty kicks. Kelon Adams (2nd) had put the winners ahead before S. Jones equalised in the 7th minute.
In addition, Colwyn Drakes 20th minute conversion lead Swag Entertainment to a 1-0 win over Magic Stars while Amazing won via a walkover against Bourda All-Stars who failed to show up.
