Annual Caribbean-American Heritage Celebration held along Flatlands Avenue in Canarsie, Brooklyn

The Consulate General of Guyana in New York participated on Saturday in the Annual Caribbean-American Heritage Celebration titled “Taste of the Caribbean, Celebrating Diversity, History and Traditions of the Caribbean,” held along Flatlands Avenue in Canarsie, Brooklyn. Throughout the event, consular staff engaged with members of the Guyanese diaspora and other attendees. The Consulate provided information and responded to enquiries related to tourism, investment opportunities, and remigration to Guyana, among other services.
The participation formed part of the Consulate’s ongoing outreach to Guyanese nationals and Caribbean communities in the United States (US).
