BFA Men’s Senior League 2022: Wolves United draw game against Mil Ballers

– Rising Stars thrash Lazio 4-1

The Bartica Football Association (BFA) Men’s Senior League continued on Wednesday with two exciting games, wherein Wolves United took on Mil Ballers from 7:00pm, and Rising Stars took on Lazio thereafter.
The first game was very competitive, and countless attacks and attempts on goal were made by both teams. The deadlock was, however, broken when 44-year-old Lionel Jacobus, center back of the Wolves United, tried his luck from the halfway line and scored a ripper, to leave the small crowd astonished.

44-year-old Lionel Jacobus levelled things for the Wolves

Mil Ballers managed to level the game in the second half, after creating a wonderful run towards the Wolves’ goal. That game ended 1-1.
The second game was one of the best games played by the Rising Stars, who thrashed the struggling and winless Lazio 4-1.
The first half was considered a moderate football session, with each team scoring a goal. The opening goal came from the Rising Stars forward Jermaine Christian.
The second half was without a doubt dominated by the Rising Stars, the boys in blue, who utilised every area of the field to score three more goals. After Marcus McKenzie had scored his goal, Jermaine Christian added another to the one he had secured in the first half, and the final goal came from 14-year-old Ezekiel Baldeo as soon as he came on the field as a substitute. He created history by scoring the fastest goal ever scored by a substitute in the Bartica Men’s Senior League.
The game ended 4-1, and Lazio FC were sent home with no points, while the Rising Stars now again sit atop the table with 14 points, two points ahead of Beacons FC, who are currently on 12 points and in second place.
