Initially, the match had been drawn 0-0 at the close of regular time play.
The final, which could be described as nerve-racking, saw both teams being called to the field, with Karisparu being the favourites, following a previous victory over Campbelltown 2-1, in the same competition, and it was during the final penalty kick that Campbelltown claimed a goal in the shootout, emerging victorious in the Final.
Earlier in the competition, which was kept at the Region’s Administrative Oval, Mahdia, Campbelltown claimed 1-0 victory over Micobie to advance to the final, leaving their opponents in 3rd place.

He added that participating in sports teaches teamwork, problem-solving skills, boosts self-esteem, and brings about physical health benefits.
Meanwhile, Community Relations Representative, Lance Corporal Khemwantie Persaud, during brief remarks, reminded the youths that they are products of yesterday which will define tomorrow. “Reach out and grasp the future, for it lies within (your) hands,” she said.
