A 31-year-old resident of Fair’s Rust, Mackenzie, Linden, was released on $50,000 bail after he denied a charge of unlawful wounding when he appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
Teon Allen denied that on October 28, 2018, he unlawfully and maliciously wounding Norbert Beckles with intent to disable, disfigure or cause him grievous bodily harm.
The incident allegedly occurred at Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden. The defendant was represented by Attorney Yondessa Welcome who requested reasonable bail for her client. In her bail application, Welcome told the court that her client is a father of three. The prosecution did not object to bail.
The case will continue on December 19.
