The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) announced that it has commenced registration of motor vehicles in the “ZZ” Series.
The new series officially commenced on Thursday, September 3, 2020, after registration of motor vehicles in the previous “YY” series, reached the completion benchmark of nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine (9,999).
The “YY” motor vehicle registration series commenced on August 08, 2019.
GRA is reminding the general public that the registration for new motor vehicles is currently being facilitated at the GRA’s Smyth Street. Relocation to this branch followed efforts by the Authority to reduce the influx of taxpayers at its Camp Street Headquarters.
Payment of the registration fee, physical examination of motor vehicles, and updates/amendments to motor vehicle registrations are also being facilitated at this location.
