Sinotruk Incorporated is now available to provide over 500 brand new trucks by partnering with Jumbo Jet – Guyana’s largest importer of agricultural machinery and trucks.
This move was initiated in wake of the country’s expanding economy and the many construction projects that are being undertaken. Jumbo Jet has said such development requires a variety of reliable equipment to meet the contractors’ demands, in order to successfully execute the existing and upcoming projects.
General Manager of the Caribbean Sinotruk International, Taonaijie, and Founder of Jumbo Jet, Nasrudeen Mohamed, finalised this agreement, which will see over 500 brand-new trucks coming from China to Guyana in the next few years. Different types of trucks will be available for sale to meet any demand. Options include, but are not limited to, dump trucks, tractor unit/hauler, flatbed, all-wheel drive, 8X4, 6X6, and 6X4, among others.
Spare parts will also be available for purchase. Nasrudeen Mohamed Junior, speaking at the signing, said the demand for better quality trucks is growing in Guyana due to the rapid workload increase. A study done by Jumbo Jet Auto Sales has revealed that depreciation of the current trucks makes them last only one to five years, whereas these brand-new trucks will be able to work efficiently for 10 years.
General Manager of Sinotruk for the Caribbean, Taonaijie, said the signing is important to his company, because the company gets to work with a reputable distributor such as Jumbo Jet. Further, he stated that Sinotruk is the number one brand of heavy-duty trucks in China.
Mohamed is very optimistic about this partnership to help provide brand new quality trucks to his community, so the members of his community can also reap the benefits and expand their business ventures. He wants to support the booming economy, and is grateful for this opportunity of being the only distributor.
Jumbo Jet Auto Sales offers a lucrative credit system to each customer, providing the option to pay for items on an installment basis regardless of the quantity purchased.
According to Taonaijie, his company would try its best to satisfy the Guyanese market, and is hoping to make Guyana the centre of the Caribbean market, given the expected economic boom from the oil resources.
“Jumbo Jet Auto Sales will also be able to establish more job opportunities across Georgetown due to the influx of brand-new trucks being imported. Many new showrooms will be created to display the variety of trucks available for sale,” the auto sales entity has said in a statement.
