Daniel Kowlessar hit a well-played century for Better Hope “B” in their encounter against Clonbrook at the Better Hope Community Centre as the East Coast Cricket Board/Elizabeth Styles 40 overs cricket competition continues.
Better Hope “B” winning the toss and opted to bat and posted a mammoth total of 241 of their allotted overs. Opening the batting, Daniel Kowlessar showed good form with the bat, hitting 6×4’s and 6×6’s for a well-played 106, while Rasheed Rohoman provide good support with the bat, scoring 65, hitting with 3×4’s and 3×6’s.
Bowling for Clonbrook, Deon Ferrier and David Rajmangal picked up 3 for 33 and 3 for 42 respectively.
In reply, Clonbrook was skittled out for 179 in 35 overs. Travis Gilbert score an even 50 while Martin Rajmangal made 47, were the only batsman that showed some resistance.
Bowling for Better Hope “B” Daniel Kowlessar returned with the ball to capture 2 for 20, and Ravi Sing 3 for 31 in the 62-run victory.
