Guyanese ace race car driver continued his impressive performance on the Formula 4 circuit, as he was able to cop a third place finish in the NACAM FIA Formula 4 championship series in Mexico over the weekend.
Ming and teammate Axel Matus, driving for the ‘Ram Racing’ Team finished in first and third places respectively in the first race of the weekend at the world famous ‘Hermanos Rodriguez’ circuit in Mexico City; the circuit which was constructed and used for the inaugural Formula 1 race in Mexico last November.
During the second race of the weekend during Saturday morning, the grid was reversed and Ming started in P6 and finished in P8 while his teammate Axel finished in P1.
For the third race of the weekend on Saturday afternoon, the grid positions were determined by the second fastest lap times during qualifying, which saw Ming starting in P3. The race was very close right down to the finish line and Ming finished in P4.
Each race was run for 25 minutes plus 1 lap on the 4-km long circuit.
