Minister Charles Ramson to attend launch of book by 9th Dan karateka Frank Woon-A-Tai

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Hon. Charles S. Ramson, MP, attended a simple but noteworthy ceremony to launch the memoirs of Guyanese karate master Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai, 9th Dan, M.S.
The ceremony took place on Monday, 30th November, 2020 at the Guyana Karate College Dojo located in the Transport and Harbours Sports Club, Thomas Lands, Georgetown.
Minister Ramson congratulated Shuseki Shihan Woon-A-Tai on completing an important and captivating account of his life in karate. The Minister also presented dan certificates to a number of karatekas who were successful in their recent dan examinations.

Shu-Ha-Ri: My Life in Japanese Karate, the memoirs of renowned karate master Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai, 9th Dan, M.S, traces the journey from his humble beginnings as an impoverished youth growing up in Guyana to chairman of the International Karate Daigaku (IKD), the fastest growing international karate organisation in the world, with dojos in over 76 regions from 56 countries.
